
Welcome to my “shack.” I operate mostly on digital modes from my home amateur radio station. The sections below describe my equipment and related items.


My HF rig is an ICOM IC-7300 that communicates with the computer via USB for digital work. I also have a LDG IT-100 tuner for those times when the auto-tuner is not enough. My main antenna is a MFJ-2010 OCFD suspended approximately 30 ft in a pine tree. I also have a MFJ-1795 four-band vertical antenna as a backup.


My VHF/UHF radio is a Kenwood TM-D700. I use a Par OA-144 for 2-meter contacts.

I have a Davis weather station that I link with the CWOP site. I have also been to “visit” Marconi during a trip to Italy.
